In February 1964 when the Beatles touched down in New York for a landmark appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, “Beatlemania” swept the nation, and life for the 4 young lads from Liverpool would never be the same. On April 29th, when commoner Kate Middleton walked through the doors of Westminster Abbey in that now infamous Alexander McQueen dress to marry the future King, with the uttering of two little words, “I do” her life irrevocably changed.
